JumpFromPaper is a playful and innovative line of handbags created by Taipei-based design duo, Chay Lin Su and Rika Lin.
One cozy afternoon, the two girls were chatting, when they got to sketching their dream designer handbag. A surprising idea popped up – “How amazing it would be if a two-dimensional hand-drawn illustration could come to life as a real bag!” They explored every possibility, rendering fantasy handbags in perspective, and giving birth to JumpFromPaper™.
Cartoon-like outlines and bright and cheerful colors add a brisk yet funky flavor. And despite the slim appearance, each JumpFromPaper™ bag has a roomy interior to accommodate personal belongings and even a laptop.
JumpFromPaper™ takes handbag design on a new journey, ready to twist people’s view!
The designers Chay Su and Rika Lin are in their twenties. They love daydreaming and the whole JumpFromPaper™ idea came from their daydream and crazy imagination. They love designer bags however most of them are so expensive and way beyond their reach, and therefore they started imagining that if only could create their own bags which are beautiful and yet in their style.
"JumpFromPaper™" is given to describe the transformation of sketches into real handbags.
The first time a saw JumpFromPaper, i was captivated & wanted one of these bags! They seemed so different & hard to believe it was real - Cuz this bags were cartoon like & wondered how they'll look in real life!
Thanks to JumpFromPaper, they send me this gorgeous bag.
So i thought life could be full of imagination and surprises, why not this bag? :)
Four days later (yes, the delivery is very fast), my super cute bowling bag arrived!
This two-dimensional bag was so unique & seemed unreal that when it arrived, i just felt special cuz here is Romania, i'll be the first person to have this bag! :)
The inside of the bag is suitable to put laptop, papers, books or magazines...
You can use this bag very easily but if you are a shy person, well, be ready to be popular cuz all eyes will turn to you wherever you step out cuz this bag is a star itself!

The first thing i love about this bag is the originality & the idea that came real! The designers are really genius to bring up an idea of a two-dimensional bag like this to real life.
The second this i love about this bag is the feeling that when you have this bag, you'll be different. You'll be different from the stereotype dolls that have designer bags, but have no style at all!
