20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party Hosted By Sir Elton John And David Furnish.
Guests arrived at the Academy Awards Viewing Party for cocktails followed by a gala dinner and viewing of the 84th Academy Awards® telecast.
The celebrities were shining in their gorgeous gowns & i must say that most of them were better dressed than The Oscars!

Her gold strapless mermaid gown with leather foiled cut-outs was thankfully modified to remove the halter strap.  Vanessa’s hair already makes this look feel very matronly; removing the strap keeps the look youthful. A vintage gold crystal mesh Swarovski clutch completed her look. |

Zhang Ziyi In Elie SaabZhang’s Prussian blue gown with embellished details from the designers’ Pre-Fall 2012 collection was teamed with grey Elie Saab platforms, a black python Swarovski ‘Nirvana Star’ clutch and Bulgari jewels completed her look.
